Development Tools

Developing a signal processing application requires a software tool suite that is tightly integrated, takes full advantage of the capabilities of the processing unit (FPGA and/or DSP), and covers the entire product development cycle – from code development, to debugging, to final deployment. To provide such a development tool suite for its FPGA signal processing hardware, BittWare has combined its years of experience within signal processing design with the expertise of many other industry leaders. The result is a set of software tools that shortens designers’ learning curve while increasing their productivity, allowing them to reduce development costs and shorten their time to market.

System Development Tools
System Development Tools include BittWare's BittWorks for Application Development, a complete suite of software development tools for BittWare’s products. BittWorks is designed to make developing and debugging applications for BittWare’s signal processing boards easy and efficient, regardless of whether the hardware is on the local machine or being accessed remotely.
FPGA Development Tools
FPGA Development Tools for BittWare products include BittWare's ATLANTiS FrameWork, an FPGA framework for Altera Stratix II, IV, and V FPGAs; and Altera's Quartus® II software for Verilog and VHDL FPGA design.
Anemone™ Code Development Tools
A variety of Anemone Code Development Tools are available for developing applications for BittWare's Anemone co-processor for FPGAs.
TigerSHARC® Development Tools
BittWare offers a variety of TigerSHARC Development Tools to help get designers started developing their signal processing solutions. These include VisualDSP++® from Analog Devices for C/C++ DSP design, and BittWare's TS-Lib Library of routines optimized for the TigerSHARC processors.
