IP & FrameWorks for FPGA
Embedded signal processing applications increasingly require flexibility, adaptability, and reprogrammability. The ability to modify a system in the real world is crucial for many systems; including FPGAs as part of the signal processing chain is now a necessity. But FPGAs are not processors, and therefore do not have an internal architecture, instruction set, data paths, or peripheral set. FPGAs, by definition, simply provide the raw materials and components that allow – and require – a user to create everything from scratch. This essentially defeats the basic purpose of COTS – to reduce development costs, risks, and time-to-deployment.
To ease development on our FPGA hardware, BittWare provides a variety of IP and FrameWorks for FPGA, enabling our customers to focus on their application-specific programming and system design, decreasing their time-to-market and minimizing their time-to-revenue.
ATLANTiS™ FrameWork
BittWare's ATLANTiS FrameWork (AFW), the next generation of ATLANTiS, provides reconfigurable FPGA components, along with the infrastructure necessary to implement, simulate, synthesize, validate, and deploy a complete FPGA application on our Altera-based products.
ATLANTiS™
BittWare’s ATLANTiS is an I/O switching and processing device implemented in the FPGA on our TigerSHARC family of products.
FINe™ Host/Control Bridge
BittWare’s FINe Host/Control Bridge is the next generation of the SharcFIN. The FINe implements a complete control plane interface, facilitating separate control and data planes, and greatly simplifying the development of data plane I/O and processing.
SharcFIN PCI/DSP Bridge Chips
BittWare's SharcFIN PCI-DSP bridge chips support the ADSP-TS201s TigerSHARC, the ADSP-TS101s TigerSHARC, and the ADSP-2116x SHARCs.
Note: SharcFIN products are legacy products and are not intended for new design-ins.
