FINe™ III Supporting S4 Family Products

BittWare’s FINe III Host/Control Bridge, implemented in the Altera® Cyclone® III, provides a complete control plane interface for the S4 FPGA-computing products, based on the Altera® Stratix® IV GX FPGA.

The FINe III provides Gigabit Ethernet via the common options region, along with 10/100 Ethernet and an RS232 monitor port on the AMC front panel, and is connected to the FPGA via a local control bus.

FINe™ II Supporting GT and GX Family Products

BittWare’s FINe II Host/Control Bridge, implemented in the Altera® Cyclone® II, provides a complete control plane interface for the GT and GX Hybrid (FPGA + DSP) products, based on the Altera® Stratix® II GX FPGA and the ADI TigerSHARC® TS201 DSP.

For our GX family products, the FINe II provides Gigabit Ethernet via the common options region, along with 10/100 Ethernet and an RS232 monitor port on the AMC front panel, and is connected to the FPGA via a local control bus.

For our GT family products, the FINe II provides the DSPs with low-overhead access to the host. It also provides a general purpose peripheral bus that allows the DSPs to access the Flash, 10/100 Ethernet, and the RS232/RS422 UART interface. Host access is also provided to the DSPs, Flash, and FPGA control registers.

FINe™ Supporting B2 Family Products

BittWare’s FINe Host/Control Bridge, implemented in the Altera Stratix II, provides a complete control plane interface for the all boards in the B2 Family of hybrid signal processing products, based on the Altera Stratix II FPGA and the ADI TigerSHARC TS201 DSP.

The FINe provides Gigabit Ethernet via the common options region, or can be optionally configured for PCI Express. It also provides 10/100 Ethernet and RS-232 on the AMC front panel.
