Hybrid (FPGA + DSP)
Our hybrid embedded boards feature both FPGAs and DSPs, providing extra processing power and allowing you flexibility in developing your applications. These boards feature FPGAs from Altera and TigerSHARC processors from Analog Devices.
All of our hybrid embedded boards use BittWare's ATLANTiS™ framework to interface between the FPGA and DSPs. Implemented in the FPGA, ATLANTiS provides a single solution for the three dilemmas facing multi-processor designs:
- how to allocate the I/O bandwidth among the processors
- how to easily connect the various I/Os to any and all processing resources
- how to integrate FPGA and DSP processing
